Want to enjoy the outdoors with new friends? Strollers organise short walks at a leisurely pace while the Walking Group's are typically 5/6 miles.
Indoor activiies include Kurling and Table Tennis whilst the Bowls group meets outdoors in the summer and indoors during the winter months.


There are indoor activities to stimulate the mind. The Play reading and Literature groups draw on published works for inspiration while the Thursday Talking Shop goes wherever members ideas take it. Bridge, Scrabble and Board Games groups are for those who want a little competition in their leisure time. Threads is the name for our craft group and the . Sunday Lunchers is for those who want to share a meal and ideas with other members. The quiz group gets your brain cells working on remembering all those facts that are in there somewhere.
It's never too late to learn. Join a group where members share their knowledge. There are three language groups and three history groups. Improve your french or italian conversation skills. Share research into topics of general history, local history or family history. Art appreciation combines learning with pure enjoyment of works of art.




Come along to one of our monthly meetings in the Memorial Hall, Collingham. Listen to one of our talks or enjoy the entertainment then find out more about us by chatting with members.
