A group for those interested in researching family history. We look for genealogical records for individual group members using internet resources. Internet access and a projector and screen is available at the YCC, so this can be done as a group exercise. We also research and discuss conditions affecting our ancestors' lives. Members often do a presentation of their ancestors stories to the group. Topics looked at regularly include such subjects as the Poor Laws and Workhouses, Social Mobility, Working Conditions, Infant Mortality, Military experiences and many others.
